Suite provides clients for macOS, Windows and Linux. Choose the installer for your operating system and processor. Linux setup without a GUI is documented for Ubuntu 22.04/24.04 and Rocky 9.

01First use
From install to useful work.
A few checks help you start with the right access and a responsive workspace.
Join your workspace
Sign in with your Suite account. If you are joining an existing team, use its invitation and ask your administrator for the files and folders you need.
Choose a cache location
Use an SSD with sufficient room for your working set. Follow Suite’s cache guidance for your operating system; avoid exFAT.
Open a representative file
Verify that your drive is mounted and your application can open a file you are authorized to access. Suite requires an internet connection.
Check uploads in Suite
After an authorized test write, check Suite’s upload status and any errors. A completed operating-system copy is not confirmation that upload to the cloud has finished.

Which Mac installer should I choose?
Open About This Mac. Choose Apple Silicon for an Apple M-series chip, or Intel for an Intel processor. Check the current system requirements before installing.
Can I install from a phone or tablet?
These installers are for supported computers. You can review the setup information here on mobile, then download the appropriate installer on your computer.
Can an agent use Suite on Linux without a desktop?
Suite documents installation without a GUI and a command-line interface for supported Linux hosts. Follow the Linux and CLI guides, confirm authentication and MFA, and authorize installation and data access before executing setup.
Will downloading Suite create an account?
No. Downloading an installer does not create a Suite account or grant access to a team’s files. Use the Managed signup flow or join an existing team.

Signup links take you to Suite Studios’ main site. Managed opens the account signup form; BYO / S3 Native opens the demo request form.
Signing up with an AI agent
- Continue on the official form in the destination tab. Use the user’s authorized details and select whether they are creating or joining a team.
- For Managed, follow the account setup steps presented by Suite. Ask the user to handle verification, passwords and acceptance of agreements when required.
- If billing requests a card, prompt the user to enter payment details directly in Suite’s secure flow and approve any charge or subscription. Do not collect card details in this site or a chat.
- For BYO / S3 Native, submit the authorized request with the storage provider and workload context. Suite will guide the connection and onboarding; active storage starts at 20 TB.
- After Suite confirms setup, use the supported client and authorized access to complete a first file operation. Report the actual result, and resume after any human-only step.
